Pray for Alla's Children Who Need Urgent Surgery
Meet Alla, a courageous woman who has been through a lot in her life. Last summer, she came to our church and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She has five children, and she has been homeless since she was 14 years old. Despite the many challenges she has faced, she works tirelessly every day to provide for her family.
Alla works 13 hours per day, every day of the week, without any days off. She earns just $12 per day, which means she has to work every day of the month to make ends meet. She wakes up at 5 am and works until 6 pm. She has to pay $250 for her rented apartment, leaving very little money to cover other expenses.
Unfortunately, two of Alla’s children need urgent and very serious surgeries. As a mother, she is doing everything she can to ensure that her children receive the medical attention they need. She doesn’t want them to grow up on the street like she did.
Pastor Sasha who is on the ground in Ukraine shares, “Every time I talk to Alla, she asks me to pray for her. She believes that God can help her through her difficult times. She is a woman of faith, and her strength and determination are an inspiration to us all.
I met Alla at the market where she works. She has been working there for over 10 years, and her neighboring lady from another kiosk told me that Alla is a very hardworking person. When I introduced myself as her pastor, she said, ‘This is my pastor, the one I told you about!’.”
Alla’s story is just one example of the many challenges that refugees face in Ukraine. The situation for refugees in Ukraine is dire, and they need our help. They are often in need of basic necessities such as food, shelter, and medical care. With your support, we can make a difference in the lives of refugees like Alla and her children.
Please join us in praying for Alla and her family and if you feel led to… consider making a donation to support refugees like Alla and her family. Your on-going contribution will help us provide much-needed assistance to refugees in Ukraine as well as share the good news of Jesus Christ. Together we can make a difference in the lives of those who need it the most.
