It’s Christmas time; the day we celebrate one of the greatest gifts humanity has ever received, Jesus: God’s only begotten Son!
What a blessing it is to share this gift and to show others how deeply loved they are by the Savior of the world.
This Christmas children and families gathered at church to celebrate together. It has been a tough year for so many as the war continues to lurk over the country and its people… but for a moment, all the worry seemed to disappear as people came together to sing songs, fellowship, receive gifts and listen to the message of God’s love.
As the focus on the joy of Jesus became clearer, the smiles on precious children and families’ faces became brighter. The community coming together to celebrate our Savior being born into this world outshined the shadows being cast by the uncertainty of war and a harsh, cold winter.
We are grateful to the Lord for His provision and to be able to see the joy of Jesus shining in the people of Ukraine.
