Hunted by the KGB and held prisoner for his faith through some of the worst times in Russian history, evangelist Joseph Bondarenko’s story motivates readers to risk everything to answer God’s call.
What if simply telling others about Jesus was all it took to send you to the unrelentingly brutal Soviet Gulag for an entire decade, and place you at the top of the KGB’s most wanted list? And what if the God you served walked beside you through every horrifying moment, redeeming the fear, danger, and torture for His glory?
The KGB’s Most Wanted, Joseph’s autobiography, details his life within a solitary confinement cell, just “four steps long and three steps wide,” to freedom and the chance to bring the gospel to countless in the world’s stronghold of atheism.
Joseph has committed a return to Kiev, Ukraine this September to share the Gospel with more than 100,000, in the same city in which he was arrested and tried as a young pastor. This moment signifies an opportunity to bring hope to thousands of hopeless, suffering, displaced people in a warn-torn country; people left with no means to sustain their life and that of their family’s. Not only will Joseph’s story inspire his countrymen to find hope in Christ alone, but it will also help them understand the power of forgiveness and reconciliation that brings healing and light to their dark world.
Since many Ukrainians are unable to purchase the book, our goal is to distribute it free of charge in Kiev and surrounding war-affected areas. The translation of the manuscript is complete and the editing and prepress process is currently underway. Please prayerfully consider accepting this invitation to partner with us in sharing the gospel through your donation for this exciting project. A fundraising goal of $35,000 (for the translation, editing and printing of 15,000 books) has been set.
We covet your prayers and ask that you forward this information to friends, family, and corporations who may also like to invest in the eternity of the people of God. Your tax-deductible contribution may be sent by check to The Good Call Ministries, PO Box 4694, Mission Viejo, CA 92690, or you may easily donate here
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the Gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
